About PrintLab Tec
PrintLab Tec is the specialist 3D scanning division of PrintLab International, built on a ten-year partnership with Shining 3D. Our team has grown two strong areas of expertise: a global 3D printing and design learning platform for education, and a dedicated 3D scanner business that manages UK distribution and support for Shining 3D solutions. PrintLab Tec gives our scanning division its own home, bringing together specialist product knowledge, practical workflows, and the experience of industrial designers who use these tools every day.
Our Role in the UK
As the UK partner for Shining 3D, we work closely with the manufacturer to introduce, support, and maintain their portfolio of EinScan and EINSTAR 3D scanners. Our work spans multiple sectors including product design, engineering, manufacturing, healthcare, heritage, and the creative industries.
We combine technical experience with real-world application knowledge, helping customers understand not only what each scanner does, but how it performs in specific workflows and environments.

Shining 3D is a global leader in 3D scanning. Their EinScan and EINSTAR ranges are known for combining accuracy, usability, and exceptional value across a variety of applications. From entry-level portable systems to advanced hybrid-light scanners, Shining 3D solutions are used worldwide to capture products, artefacts, people, components, and complex environments.
